Planned opening
May 2022
With a competent and highly motivated team of builders, specialists, designers and with the support of the entire Balance Familie, we are planning to open the extension Sonne 2.0 in May 2022.
Accompany us on this path of transformation and further development and look forward to the new appearance and gastronomic and tourist lighthouse on Lake Sempach just as much as we do.
October 2021 to April 2022
Stage 3
From autumn 2021 the construction of 4 wellness suites can already be started. At the same time a gentle partial renovation of the existing rooms will take place. A photovoltaic system will be installed for the future power supply. In addition to these focal points, the entire façade will be renovated.
May 2021 tos April 2022
Stage 2
The actual construction of the hotel and function rooms extension is planned for spring 2021. A spacious hotel reception including lobby and guest lift will offer more space and amenities. A winter garden and a free-flow breakfast buffet are also planned.
October 2020 to April 2021
1st stage
After more than two years of planning, the ground-breaking ceremony for the extension took place on 19 October 2020. In the first stage, the construction of the new goods delivery area will be tackled first. This will be followed by the total renovation of the kitchen. In keeping with the concept of ecological and economic sustainability, the hotel will in future have a lakewater energy supply for heating and cooling.
